These are some of the special woods or shapes that I have made

A head made from ebony, from Papua New Guinea. A heavy wood with black markings. This one had initials on the side and 9" markers for playing to USCA rules.

Rosewood - dark brown

Padauk - a rich red colour that darkens with exposure

Imbuya - the lightest density wood

Mahogany - from Jamaica, imported in 1909

Pau Amarello - yellow wood, but I have none left

A head with a 'curved' bottom, sometimes referred to as "boat shape". The wood is kingwood - difficult to find.
